This week, TravMedia celebrated the second annual TravMedia Summit. This professional development seminar brought together the leading influential members of the tourism industry in Asia. The high impact program was held at The Parisian Macao.

Nick Wayland, TravMedia’s CEO and Founder, said: “Our aim in launching the TravMedia Summit in Asia was to create a platform to share ideas. We also wanted a platform to learn from leaders and each other, and be inspired to improve communications within the travel industry.

We’ve worked hard to bring together an expert panel. Our key speakers include Barry Neild of CNN Travel, Tara Loader Wilkinson of Billionaire, Benoit Badufle of the Monaco Government Tourism Office and many others.”

The program featured a series of intensive sessions covering various topics. The highlights were changing media landscape, metrics to measuring duccessful PR, and effective pitch tactics. The delegates also discussed media authenticity, and sustainable tourism.

Then, in the evening, TravMedia organised a networking session poolside at The Parisian Macao. This enabled delegates to come together and discuss the day’s learnings. Many were also happy to forge stronger relationships with like-minded industry professionals.
