Now Open: Casa Buenas at Resorts World Manila

Resorts World Manila’s (RWM) newest signature dining outlet, Casa Buenas, opens its doors  this February. The Filipino-Spanish restaurant is certainly a tribute to all things Filipino, from exquisite cuisine, vernacular architecture, and the quintessential Filipino hospitality and service.

Signature Dishes at Casa Buenas

Heavily influenced by Filipino culture and heritage, the restaurant offers gastronomic delights inspired from Eastern and Western cooking practices. With Chef Godfrey Laforteza at the helm, RWM chefs put together a fine Filipino-Spanish cuisine that reflects a premium and sophisticated palate. The menu ranges from zestful appetizers such as Asian-inspired Kumot to off-the-grill specialties like Iberico pork spare ribs, paella and tapas

Signature dishes include Tuna Tartare Kilawin with coconut cream pinakurat, premium Grilled Kurobuta Pork Chop, Cebu Lechon-inspired Sinulog Roasted Lechon Manok, high quality Grilled US Angus Rib Eye Steak, and brandy-infused Emperador Strudel.

The 120-seating restaurant also boasts of its traditional Bahay na Bato-inspired interiors that exude a warm, homey, and relaxing vibe, one that resonates with a classic Filipino ancestral home. Additionally, the aesthetic highlights quaint mixes of sophisticated designs from around the country including baked capiz, intricate wood marquetry and wood inlays, hand-crafted lattice work, and hand-carved hardwood floors.

Aside from the inviting ambiance, guests will also be treated to a gracious Filipino hospitality and service that spell out a world-class experience.

A Valentine Treat

For its opening salvo, Casa Buenas offers a three-day Valentine dinner, La Serenata, featuring a six-course menu crafted like a traditional Kundiman. The romantic dinner will start off with Tuna Tartare Kilawin and Kumot for Amuse Bouche; Gambas and Grilled Octopus for Hot Appetizer; Salmon Yazu Dashi for Soup; Grilled Beef Tenderloin and Iberico Pork Jowl for Mains, homemade pralines for Mignardise; and then finally Emperador Strudel for Dessert.

Guests may also opt for an intimate couple date or exclusive date at La Cupula. The restaurant also offers group date at La Cupula, the special private dining area and Pamilya, the communal table.
