In line with the ASEAN’s objective to make the region a globally-known “Quality Single Destination”, Jpark Island Resort & Waterpark, Cebu has been chosen as one of the recipients of the prestigious ASEAN 1st MICE Venue awards. The resort was one of the five Philippine awardees in a Hotel Category Setting (AMVS) for compliance based on the requirement of the said ASEAN standard.
Held last January 26, 2018 at Chiang Mai, Thailand, where the ASEAN Tourism Forum was held and part of it is the ASEAN MICE Venue awarding. State leaders throughout the ASEAN region met and the awardees were also present on this occasion. MICE or Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions is one of the growing business opportunities here in the Philippines and as well as in the ASEAN region. MICE venue is one of the factors to be considered on where a MICE activity will be held. To be one of the accredited venues throughout Southeast Asia has a big impact not only for the company but for the province of Cebu.

Jpark has four meeting rooms and the Triton Grand Ballroom that can seat up to 600 persons. Within the next few years they are set to expand by which they can accommodate 1,400 persons.
