After a grueling series of challenges, the competition had officially come to an end when four finalists battled it out for one last time last February 12 at the Palace Pool Club where they were judged according to originality, mix creativity, and technical skills.
Emerging as victors were Roy De Borja from the University of Asia and the Pacific who placed at 4th, Galo Marquez from Ateneo De Manila University at 3rd, followed by Arthur Tan of Ateneo De Manila University in 2nd, and last but certainly not the least, Jhelou Manansala from Angeles University Foundation who proved himself worthy of being hailed as champion DJ.
As an unforgettable treat, the champion took home P15,000 in cash, P15,000 worth of Bratpack gift certificates, a trophy, a Pioneer DJ Controller, a segment at the Palace Pool Club Aqua Zoo Summer kick-off party, and the ultimate prize of a breakthrough gig at Summer Siren Festival 2016 at Zambales this summer.
A celebration of young talent, artistry, and of course, EDM, the Bratpack Spinister DJ Competition Grand Finals was a smash-hit among the music lovers and partyphiles that flocked to the music event. Once again, Bratpack lives up to its role as a purveyor of youth cultures as it ceaselessly finds ways to inspire and grow their potential.
