Nelson’s Distillery and School, one of the United Kingdom’s leading craft gin, vodka and rum producers will launch its own gin school in Asia. Located in the capital city of Manila in the Philippines, the multi-award-winning Nelson’s School and Distillery will partner with the global hotel powerhouse, Hilton Group, to offer a memorable gin school experience.

Officially opening in Port Bar at Hilton Manila on February 15, 2020, the Nelson’s Gin School experience will introduce a memorable new way to celebrate Valentine’s Day to Filipinos.

With an experience that has been tried and tested in the United Kingdom, it received a 5-star rating on TripAdvisor. Attendees will get to learn about the history of gin, immerse themselves into the Nelson’s brand whilst discovering the multitude of flavors and botanicals used in gin from all around the world, all of which can be used to craft their very own blend of gin to share with others or enjoy on their own. An English-style Ploughman’s board dinner will also be served.

Make you own gin at Nelson’s

Recently, Nelson’s Distillery & School, located in Staffordshire in the United Kingdom, claimed the best gin title in the Craft Gin Club awards for its ‘Gluggle Jug gin’ product. Revered as the Oscars of the gin world, the awards are a celebration of the finest craft gins, tonics, snacks, gin stories and community of 2019.

Nelson’s Distillery & School was founded in 2014 by former Master Chef, Neil Harrison, who has a Masters in Food Science in Botanicals. They currently have 8 core gin products, 2 rums, and a continuing expansion of flavored blends.

Master Distiller Neil Harrison said, “Distilling started as a hobby for me, but my love for gin and experience as a chef has enabled me to produce combinations that really stand out in an ever-competitive market.”
