Sitting in the beautiful Gulf of Thailand, Koh Samui is now recognised as one of Asia’s top travel and beach destinations. Lipa Noi, a peaceful beach on the west coast of Koh Samui, offers gorgeous white sand, clear aquamarine waters and beautiful villas for those seeking a retreat from the tourist crowds elsewhere.
VILLAS FOR RENT IN LIPA NOI, KOH SAMUI
Lipa Noi beach in Koh Samui now offers several luxurious villas scattered among the palm trees, hosted by Elite Havens, a company known for its roster of beautiful villas for rent in Asia, most of them perfectly placed for that sunset cocktail moment.
Lipa Noi beach has few visitors, apart from local fishermen, and the calm, warm waters are perfect for water-sports and also child-friendly, making Lipa Noi a perfect family retreat.
HOW TO GET TO KOH SAMUI
The infrastructure of Koh Samui has been transformed from its early days as a remote backpacker destination. Over twenty direct flights a day to Koh Samui from Bangkok, and the Koh Samui airport is just one hour from Lipa Noi. Although there are many flights to Koh Samui from Bangkok, and also some international flights to Koh Samui from Asian cities like Hong Kong, advance booking in high season always makes sense.
An alternative route is to fly to Surat Thani from Bangkok and then to cross by ferry across the Gulf, landing close to Lipa Noi beach.
For the romantics, an overnight sleeper train runs from Bangkok down to Surat Thani station although this is not exactly a train along the same standards as the famous Orient Express.
WHAT TO DO IN LIPA NOI, KOH SAMUI
Once you have checked into one of the beautiful villas in Lipa Noi, you just have to relax and choose your meals – all meals are sourced and prepared by permanent villa staff. Then you can decide whether to swim in your pool or from the beach, snorkel or take one of the villa sea-kayaks out for a paddle.
For the less energetic, villas in Lipa Noi such as Ban Suriya and Tawantok have their own spa and all villas provide massage services. If you just feel like doing nothing, as a beach vacation is sometimes all about that, there are plenty of beach loungers to unwind in and just watch that sun go down in Koh Samui, living a #Travelife.
