A party at sea, with nasi goreng, sailing from Jakarta to Singapore, onboard Silversea

Onboard the Silver Shadow cruise ship of Silversea earlier this week, living a Travelife, we enjoyed an outdoor party on the swimmimg pool deck as the ship sailed from Jakarta to Singapore.

In Singapore, by the way, the cruise boats now dock at the Marina Bay Cruise Centre, which is very convenient to Singapore’s CBD.

I was last in Singapore for the launching of this very cruise terminal, which the Singapore government celebrated with a very big opening party, and so it was very nice to see it now fully operational.

It’s really nice to stay on the swimming pool deck as the ship is sailing, especially on a nice Asian evening with cool but gentle breezes.

The ship staff really put out the party decor for this one, with the leaves of palm trees decorating even the jacuzzi hot tubs.

There were tables and food stations all around, including a very large pan of delicious nasi goreng.

There was also music, and everyone made merry after a day off the ship, sightseeing in Indonesia.

All in all, this made a most picturesque venue for another delicious dinner in my never-ending, and never-endingly eventful Travelife.
