A new Italian chef is cooking new dishes at Cucina, at the Marco Polo Ortigas

New Italian chef at Cucina at the Marco Polo Ortigas


The Marco Polo Ortigas Manila team recently welcomed its new Chef De Cuisine, Giuseppe Rivoli, who will be overseeing the cooking at Cucina, the hotel’s flagship restaurant.

Born and bred near the Mediterranean coast of Italy, Chef Giuseppe boasts of an extensive culinary background and a cooking career that has taken him to London, Italy, Singapore, Indonesia, and elsewhere in Asia.

ABOUT CHEF GIUSEPPE RIVOLI

Chef Giuseppe takes inspiration from his many travels and specializes in Italian and Asian cuisine. He was recently part of Trattoria Italia Restaurant in Singapore as Executive Chef to its 11 outlets around Asia.

He was also Chef de Partie in the Grill section of the Nobu Restaurant in London.

NEW DISHES AT CUCINA
OF THE MARCO POLO ORTIGAS



Chef Giuseppe plans to present Cucina’s cuisine in a contemporary and refined ways.

On weekdays, guests will be able to try new dishes such as beet cured salmon with crème fraiche, ossobucco ala Milanese with soft yellow polenta, and beef cheek couscous.



Weekends will bring on special treats like Italian porchetta stuffed with sun dried tomatoes and black olive pate, baked salted fish with Chef Giuseppe’s special sauce, and wild mushroom risotto.

Cucina is Marco Polo Ortigas Manila’s all-day dining restaurant, open daily for lunch from 12 noon to 230 PM and then again for dinner from 6 PM to 1030 PM.
