Swiss cooking class at the Marco Polo Ortigas to celebrate the Swiss Food Festival at Cucina restaurant

To further celebrate the  "All Things Swiss" Swiss food festival of the Marco Polo Ortigas with a bang, #Travelife Magazine, the leading travel & lifestyle publication, organized a truly enjoyable cooking class with the hotel.

Chef Rolf Jaeggi, one of the top Swiss chefs in Asia, flew in from Hong Kong for this cooking class as well as for an All Things Swiss food promotion at the Cucina restaurant of the Marco Polo Ortigas until September 4.

The Travelife Swiss cooking class, which featured an authentic three-course Swiss meal included steak tartare, Zurich-style veal with rosti, and plum pudding.

This was attended by ambassadors and senior members of the diplomatic corps, as well as by our foodie friends and readers, and we were all bright and early, and on time.

We all had great fun, especially as Chef Rolf, who has also cooked for Queen Elizabeth II, was so entertaining as he cooked and gave us tips.

So you might say that it was a truly wonderful Saturday at the Marco Polo Ortigas, and we were all living a #Travelife.
