SPOON by Alain Ducasse participates in the Goût de France / Good France Promotion with a gourmet dinner at the Intercontinental Hong Kong

For the second consecutive year, Goût de France / Good France will celebrate French gastronomy in various locations worldwide on March 21 and 22, 2016.

Over 1,500 chefs on all five continents are expected to join the event on the first two days of spring. Dinners served simultaneously in participating restaurants will honour the merits of French cuisine, its capacity for innovation, and its values: sharing, enjoying, and respecting the principles of high-quality, environmentally responsible cuisine.

On Tuesday, March 22, SPOON by Alain Ducasse will be one of 1,500 restaurants around the world taking part in this global culinary initiative. Alain Ducasse said, “Talking about cuisine — French cuisine — is also talking about joie de vivre, delicacy, optimism, and pleasure — ideas that are all crucial to the image of France.”

Inspired by Auguste Escoffier, who started The Epicurean Dinners in 1912 – showcasing the same menu, the same day, in several world cities.

Each chef, including SPOON's new Executive Chef Stéphane Gortina, is creating a French-themed menu, which includes a French apéritif, a cold starter, a hot starter, a fish or shellfish, meat or poultry, a French cheese, a chocolate dessert, French wine and digestif.
