Driving a snowmobile in Sapporo. And about the Ice Hotel in Hokkaido.

The other day in Sapporo, living a #Travelife, we decided to head out to a snow park about 40 minutes' drive from the Sapporo for a day of fun in the snow.

Surprisingly, this was the warmest of the cold days we spent in Hokkaido, and weren't we just lucky about that.

There was no wind and the sun was out so it was pretty much a breeze to drive the snowmobile through the mountains, with no one else but us around.

SNOW MOBILES IN HOKKAIDO

I loved driving the snowmobile in Hokkaido.

We each took one snowmobile and went up and down some pretty steep places.

I even went off road with my snowmobile, enjoying doing turns in the fresh snow without tracks.

I attached a camera to my steering wheel and at every turn, I was practically shouting: "I love this!"

It was minus two degrees in terms of temperature, but there was absolutely no wind so we were just fine.

I can't imagine how it might have been if we had been on our snowmobiles with below zero temperatures and a wind chill to factor in.

And after a morning of driving our snowmobiles, we headed for the bar of the Ice Hotel for some cocktails. It was just before lunch but both of us felt like having some real drinks, on just another wonderful day in my never-ending, and never-endingly eventful #Travelife.
