A planning dinner for a Christmas markets river cruise from Prague to Budapest. And all about eating in the best restaurants in Vienna.

So last weekend, in Manila, living a #Travelife, I hosted pre-trip cocktails for our Morocco travel group of 35 friends. Then tonight, some of us are getting together again, although I don't know what to call the get-together this time.

Maybe I should explain it as a "post-pre-Travelife to Morocco get-together?"

It's a dinner among the core group of the Morocco group leaving in a few weeks. We'd already gotten together last week and we're doing so again tonight.

MOROCCO GROUP LAST WEEKEND.
PRAGUE GROUP LAST NIGHT.

But last night, I hosted a pre-trip planning dinner for my neighbours going with me on a Christmas markets cruise along the Danube River, from Prague to Budapest.

We're all meeting up in Prague for a few days of opera, shopping and good eating, before boarding the boat that will sail all the way to Budapest along a wonderful route of Christmas markets.

Then in Budapest, we're going shopping for Christmas goodies before jumping on a plane to make it back just in time for Christmas at home.

BETTER TO EAT AT HOME
THAN BATTLE THE TRAFFIC

The traffic in Manila is so bad so I just offered to host the dinner at home.

And thankfully so, as our planning for this particular trip included very important things like wardrobe for style and warmth.

SHOPPING FOR WINTER CLOTHES
IN REYKJAVIK.
AND ABOUT THE GREAT JACKETS AT CINTAMANI.

So, as we were all at my home, I trotted out the entire wardrobe of winter wear that I'd gone shopping for in Reykjavik, Iceland last July, when I went into all of Iceland's winter clothing stores picking up all the warmest clothing I could find.

The best store I found was Cintamani, by the way. I looked everywhere and they had the best quality winter outer wear out of everything I saw, although also the most expensive.

"Basically stylish ski wear or snow wear?" One of my friends wanted to confirm, as they looked through my Iceland shopping, most of them still with the tags on them.

THE BEST RESTAURANTS
IN VIENNA, PRAGUE AND BUDAPEST

Yes, this isn't going to be a fancy dress type of cruise although we are going to the best restaurants in Vienna, Prague and Budapest; and taking the best luxury Christmas river cruise.

Vienna, Prague and Budapest, too, are all about fur coats and pearls in winter, so we girls have decided to bring our fur coats for the evenings as well, for all the wonderful pre-Christmas evenings we are going to be having in Europe, living a never-ending, and never-endingly eventful #Travelife.
