Photos from the L'Aperitivo Italiano cocktail party on the rooftop of Seda BGC tonight

We had a lovely evening tonight in Manila, living a #Travelife.

In spite of the rains, over 300 people joined us for L'Aperitivo Italiano, a chill cocktail party organised by the Italian Chamber of Commerce, the Embassy of Italy, and #Travelife Magazine, in cooperation with Seda Hotel and the wine distributor My Wines.

THANK YOU TO QATAR AIRWAYS

We also had many valued partners including Qatar Airways. Qatar Airways donated two roundtrip business class tickets to Italy for our event.

THANK YOU TO SEDA HOTEL
FOR THE PERFECT ROOFTOP VENUE

The venue was perfect.

We got the rooftop of Seda Hotel, which has a very nice indoor space and a fantastic rooftop as well, and people were going in and out, socialising and enjoying the good food and wines.

The made-to-order pizzas right on the rooftop were especially good, and I kept ordering a special one with truffle cream and anchovies for my friends and myself.

The event was supposed to be from 6 PM to 10 PM, even if it was a cocktail party. So very Italian, really. But when I left at 11 PM, the party was still going strong.

SEE YOU TOMORROW,  JAPAN.

Unfortunately I had to leave and start packing again, as tomorrow I'm off to Tokyo for a bit of Japanese summer.

I have some fancy dinners planned this weekend with friends from college back at the Ateneo, who are flying into Tokyo for the week, a barbecue reunion dinner with my old AIESEC Japan friends from Keio University which I'm hosting on the rooftop of my Tokyo home, and a trip to the beach somewhere in between.

As always, never a dull moment in my never-ending, and never-endingly eventful #Travelife.
