Hello and farewell dinner at the Marriott Manila tonight included rib-eye steaks, salmon sinigang and prawns in coconut milk

Tonight in Manila, living a #Travelife, the Travelife Magazine team had dinner at the Marriott Manila.

Yes, everyone on our team really does live a #Travelife in every sense.We work hard, we travel a lot and we certainly eat well.

GREAT FOOD AT GOOD VALUE
AT THE MARRIOTT MANILA

We feasted on everything from grilled meats and seafood, to Filipino cuisine, Chinese food and Japanese food.

I just loved the salmon sinigang (salmon with sour tamarind soup) that I had the chefs make, as well as a very freshly done fish tempura, downed with two bowls of miso soup.

Then, never one to resist a good steak, I asked for some of the fattiest portions of a big cut of rib-eye. Boy, was that good. And to think I had two big meals tomorrow as well.

As for traveling, everyone on our team is on a #Travelife.

General Manager Gel Bayona just returned from Jeju Island in South Korea and Cebu, and Business Development Manager Kevin Lapena just returned from Doha.

Meanwhile, Mela Pantaleon from our sales team is on her way to Boracay this weekend.

Just tonight, too, a trip somewhere exotic got finalized for our editorial team, for a cover shoot, and they're quite excited for this.

FROM AFRICA TO ASIA
TO EUROPE.
AND THEN BACK TO ASIA AND AFRICA AGAIN.

As for me, I just returned from close to seven weeks in Africa and then in Japan. And then next weekend I'm flying to Europe for summer holidays.

It's hello and goodbye to this lovely Jag as well.
I hate to leave it behind but I'm leaving on a jet plane soon...

First stop is London to spend a few days visiting museums and catching up on what's new, and then I'm taking a cruise that stops in so many nice places before ending up in Iceland. I'm also taking a really interesting side trip on Britain's most glamorous train.

All in all, I'll probably be away for a month in Europe, spending the summer, living a #Travelife.

So today was a hello and goodbye dinner for everyone, as well as a birthday dinner for our financial controller Maricel Diosana and our senior sales consultant Irynn Constante, and a welcome event for a couple of young people who have joined our team as we are expanding.

It was lots of fun, again with way too much good food, and quite a lot of singing, on just another wonderful evening in my never-ending #Travelife.
