"Last week, in the Philippines, living a never-ending Travelife, I was hankering for another summer getaway when I received an invitation to visit the beautiful island of Cebu and to stay at the Movenpick Resort.
This was very timely, as Philippine Airlines had just relaunched its business class service to Cebu and Davao. It's a one-hour flight to Cebu, and I felt so relaxed in my comfortable seat, enjoying a sumptuous lunch.

WEEKEND AT THE MOVENPICK RESORT
Upon arrival in Cebu, I proceeded directly to the lovely Movenpick resort on Mactan island.
The first order of the day was a sumptuous lunch buffet at Sails restaurant.
GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY
I was truly impressed, hearing his testimony of how his business has grown and how he is now actively giving back to the HOPE NOW PHILIPPINE Foundation Inc., a foundation that helps address the lack of immediate medical facilities in the wake of natural disasters.
In fact, I was in tears after the short chat.
A CLUB INSPIRED BY
THE ISLAND OF IBIZA
That same night, we were treated to a 13-course unique culinary experience of deliciously seasoned grilled meats and seafoods while watching a spectacular show at IBIZA, Movenpick's beach club, inspired by the sophistication and lifestyle of this renowned island in Europe.
The show was themed HOLLYWOOD MOVIES, and local Cebu artists sang songs from popular Hollywood movies like Frozen, Pirates of the Caribbean, Grease and many more.
ISLAND-HOPPING IN CEBU
The next day, we went on a short island tour to Olango Paradise island where we enjoyed a lovely picnic lunch right in front of the beach, serenaded by singers. It was truly an awesome experience, especially as I had a wonderful massage after that.
That evening, we were treated to a degustation dinner with wines paired by Manny Osmena himself, showcasing the best MANNY O wines.
It was truly a great summer escape in my never ending, and never-endingly eventful #Travelife.
