Breaking news: ISIS kidnaps Filipino hospital workers in Libya

Update: 17 March 2015 at 1030 PM. ISIS has freed most of the hostages taken from the Ibn Sina Hospital.

According to breaking news on CNN, over 30 gunmen from the Islamic State (ISIS) stormed into the the Ibn Sina Hospital in Sirte, Libya, on Monday and took approximately 20 hospital workers with them.

Many of the workers were about to go home when the hospital was attacked.

Most of the hospital personnel taken hostage by the ISIS gunmen are believed to be from the Philippines, although other nationalities are involved including reportedly personnel from India and the Ukraine.
