Picking menus in Manila and a ski resort, and looking forward to a holiday in a tea plantation in Sri Lanka.

Heading for the ski slopes this weekend,
living a #Travelife

Today was a terribly busy day in my never-ending #Travelife, especially as I was still in crisis management mode from last Friday.

So food was the last thing on my mind.

At least until someone sent over a menu of really delicious-sounding dishes for lunch tomorrow. I was actually asked to choose my food in advance so that everything could be pre-ordered and we could start eating when I arrived.

Needing a hiatus from sending out a thousand emails back and forth, I opened the attachment to the joy of so many dishes that looked like things I would love to eat.

CHOOSING A MENU FOR LUNCH TOMORROW

What a difference a menu makes, in a stressful day.

Immediately I picked four good things to eat, never mind the calories -- or the fact that lunch is usually supposed to be only three courses. Everything looked wonderful and I was having enough trouble as it was narrowing my choices down to four.

This is what I chose:

Salmon chowder
Linguine with vodka
Milanese-style pork
Black forest cake

And after choosing the menu for lunch tomorrow, what a surprise.

CHOOSING DINNER AT A SKI RESORT

Another menu popped up in my In Box with a message asking for choices. I'm going skiing this weekend, you see, and we've booked a villa somewhere nice and fun (and cold, of course) for a #Travelife.

Now the fancy restaurant we'd booked for an apres-ski dinner was asking me to decided on the gastronomic menu. So I did.

SRI LANKA, IN TWO WEEKS

And after the ski trip is a #Travelife to Sri Lanka with a group of friends. Yes, from freezing to balmy and hot.

We're headed to the tea plantations of Sri Lanka for a luxury glamping experience.

I honestly haven't had the leisure to get excited about this trip until tonight. But today, I reviewed the itinerary I created for this Sri Lanka trip, and it must be the best Sri Lanka trip I've ever done in my never-ending #Travelife.
