THE SIGNATURE SEVVA CAKE
The Christmas specialties celebrate 'The Art of Giving Continues' at the chic, one-of-a-kind venue atop Prince’s Building in Central.
Headlining this season’s selection of hand-crafted treats is the signature ‘SEVVA Cake’, decorated with chocolate fondant plaques of iconic artwork at the ever popular rendezvous by illustrator Gladys Perint Palmer.
Topped with pastel sugar art flowers, the seasonal specialty is a 1000 gram soft vanilla chiffon sponge layered with either homemade caramel toffee crunch or delicate lychee & rosewater mousse, priced HK$1,800.
"LET THEM EAT CAKE"
Two alternative designs, also priced HK$1,800, are ‘Let Them Eat Cake’, featuring the famous Marie Antoinette quote on chocolate fondant plaques, made from French vanilla chiffon with lashings of chestnut cream, topped with macarons and fresh raspberries.
The second design is called ‘The Empress’ with layers of strawberry-banana-chocolate mousse, smothered with vanilla meringue, decorated with printed chocolate fondant plaques and handcrafted pastel sugar art flowers.
