Last night, in Manila living a Travelife, I hopped across town to join Sofitel Manila general manager Adam Laker and his team for the 50th anniversary celebrations of the Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila.
What a nice party it was.
First, everything was so glamorous -- from the venue set-up to the displays of the food.
MY KIND OF MUSIC
Then, they had a very nice band playing 80s music.
I felt like dancing all night because it was just the kind of swing music I liked.
The food was excellent as well. I can't even count how many servings I had of salmon pie and duck ravioli.
NICE TO SEE EVERYONE AGAIN
It was also a good opportunity to see so many people I haven't seen in ages.
Since I returned this long weekend from Bangkok, all I've been doing is trying to explain to people why I disappeared from Manila for so long.
SEVEN TIMES HALFWAY AROUND THE WORLD
IN SIX MONTHS
I've been away consecutively since April, traveling all over the world.
Since April, I've gone halfway around the world seven times -- which is no mean feat.
And now I have about two weeks here, before I jump on a plane again and head out on another adventure in my never-ending, and never-endingly eventful Travelife.
