Two weeks of delicious Greek salads in Greece, on an unplanned detox, living a Travelife

Greek salad at the Sofitel Athens Airport

Good afternoon from Athens airport, on my way out of Greece and onto another adventure in my never-ending Travelife.

I've just spent two weeks in Greece, with three friends, climbing mountains, exploring archeological sites, visiting wineries, basking in the sun, and enjoying incredibly good food.

And doing an amazing amount of shopping for organic products  -- but more on this later.

Basically, it was two weeks of living a Travelife.

A HOLIDAY TURNS INTO A DETOX

Everything was enjoyable and everyday was memorable.

As always, the problem was having enough time to write about everything.

One of the interesting results of these two weeks in the sun has been the fact that it's also become one great detox holiday.

FRESH, HEALTH, ORGANIC
EVERY SINGLE DAY OF A TRAVELIFE IN GREECE

I never planned it this way, but I ate fresh and healthy every single day, with the exception of a rack of lamb and a plate of baklava or two.

And now I've had to buy clothes at least one size smaller because most of the stuff I brought over from Manila are suddenly too big for me.

As you can imagine, I'm pretty ecstatic about this.

I basically ate whatever I wanted and now I'm one or two sizes smaller. How lucky is that?

THANKS TO A GREEK SALAD EVERYDAY

For this happy circumstance, I credit all the delicious Greek salads I ate with practically every meal.

It was never a bore to eat the same Greek salad, either, as it was never really the same thing.

Each Greek salad was different, each restaurant had its own style and way, and everything was just so tasty.

I never had a mediocre Greek salad, in Greece for two weeks, living a never-ending Travelife.
