GREAT COMBINATION,
AND A FANTASTIC VIEW

Located at the heart of the cutting-edge Zorlu Center,  which is a modern-day bazaar where fashion, fine food and the arts converge on the European shore in Beşiktaş, the Raffles Istanbul is an exhilarating fusion of virtuoso architecture, dazzling interiors, inspired food and deep luxury.

The hotel overlooks the Bosphorus, the Prince Islands and the historic peninsula, offering a stunning vantage point above the city.

THE SPIRIT OF RAFFLES

Peter French, President of Raffles Hotels & Resorts, explained: “The spirit of Raffles fits perfectly into this extraordinary capital city at such an exciting time."

He added: "Our philosophy is to create oases where people come together, then continue on, refreshed. And it is this tradition of bringing people together that is an essential feature of the story of Raffles in Istanbul."

He added:  "For centuries Istanbul has been the meeting place between East and West, Asia and Europe, where great civilizations and cultures have left their mark and where people have exchanged ideas, told stories and set out again."

RESTAURANTS & BARS
AT THE RAFFLES ISTANBUL

Istanbul is a melting pot of gastronomic delights, and so too is Raffles.

It'll have two restaurants, two bars and lounges and a patisserie:

AROLA, where the Michelin-starred Spanish chef Sergi Arola will give classic Catalan dishes a modern spin. This will be social food from a sharing culture, and the menu will offes picas, or small dishes, as well as mains and delicious desserts.

LAVINIA, a striking lobby lounge, named after Martin Dawe’s dramatic monumental bronze ‘Lavinia.’

The artisan PATISSERIE will offer a range of tempting Turkish cakes and other delights, while the POOL BAR & GRILL will be a stylish spot for soaking up the rays by day or chilling out to the DJ by night, all with eye-popping views over the city.
THE WRITERS' BAR will be the place for some time out , while the LONG BAR travels from Singapore with a glamorous twist - and its own champagne room.

Anyone for the Stamboul Sling?

THE SPA IS ALL SET FOR A TRAVELIFE

The spa is all set for serious R&R as well. It will have nine treatment rooms and suites and a choice of pools, saunas, steam rooms and hammams.

Gazelli Skincare and Organic Pharmacy will offer an indulgent menu of treatments, with a signature rose, honey and sugar hammam experience from the latter.

CONTEMPORARY DESIGNS
BUT DISTINCTLY TURKISH INTERIORS

The light and airy interiors of the Raffles Istanbul were designed by Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA).

Utterly contemporary, full of texture and distinctly Turkish, the hotel is embellished with a gorgeous collection of specially-commissioned artworks.

ART INSPIRED BY TODAY
AND BY HISTORY

Many of these artworks are by Turkish artists, while others are by artists inspired by the magnificence of Istanbul, with its tactile sculptures, objets trouvés and contemporary interpretations of classic patterns.

Plus pieces inspired by fabulous Byzantine jewels – all bringing the ancient and modern together to make a glamorous and convenient base for a weekend in Istanbul sometime soon, living a never-ending, and never-endingly eventful Travelife.

  2. Raffles looks beautiful. I hope they have good restaurants and I hope the Long Bar in Istanbul will have as much character as the Long Bar in Singapore. The one in Manila is just so uninspiring.
