My never-ending travel bucket list for 2014 and 2015

Today I just realized that although I'm on a never-ending TRAVELIFE, my bucket list for travel experiences is neither static nor shrinking.

So I keep ticking things off my bucket list, but my list keeps growing longer anyway.

Scroll down to

200 MORE TO GO IN 2015...

I went through a list I'd done in 2012, and I'm so happy to note that so many destinations on this 2012 list can now be ticked off.

The items on my 2012 list included taking the Blue Train in South Africa and visiting the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti in Tanzania.

And setting foot in the Selous, the last bastion of wilderness in Africa. It's truly been an amazing two years of a Travelife.

In the last two years, I've done so much of Africa, including so many trips to South Africa, a holiday in East Africa last October (Tanzania) and a holiday in North Africa last June (Morocco).

You might say Africa's cast a spell on me.

Each of these areas of Africa has been truly different, enjoyable and amazing. And each has consisted of pretty wonderful adventures that has opened up my world and made me see many things in a different light or different perspective.

And I now want to do two dozen other things in Africa that I'd never even considered doing before.

Here are some of the things on my bucket list for Africa and the Middle East in general:

1) A safari in Botswana. You can do three different kinds of safaris here, and I want to do all three.

2) Visit all the major attractions in Namibia. This has always been on my list, and I still haven't done it yet.

3) A holiday in Mozambique. At a dinner party in Johannesburg last May, everyone was raving about the wonderful things to do and see in Mozambique.

4) A river cruise through Africa.

5) A holiday in the Garden Route of South Africa. I've been to South Africa so many times now, but I still haven't done the Garden Route.

6) Do the Karen Blixen route and another period safari in Kenya.

7) Visit the amazing ancient churches of Ethipioa.

8) Take Rovos Rail through South Africa.

And so on. Don't even get me started on the rest of the world. Just last night I'd bookmarked a destination in Finland that I want to fly to early next year for a night under the stars...

The list is truly endless in our never-ending, and never-endingly eventful Travelife.
