By happy coincidence, I found a great van that fit us all, luggage and all, and without a single hiccup we all got to Paris in time for a drive around the city and then lunch at Joel Robuchon.
I've been in charge of choosing most of the restaurants and hotels for this trip, and I chose Joel Robuchon for our very first meal in Paris because it's delicious and casual enough to enjoy a meal in jeans and tshirts since we were all headed there practically from the airport.
Personally I was psyched for a really good first meal in Paris, and this certainly fit the bill. I always eat here on a trip to Paris, and usually it's my last meal before flying out back to Asia.
On Sunday we began with foie gras appetizers, followed by black truffle pasta, and then we each chose whatever we wanted for the main course.
I had the dry aged steak, which was very satisfying, although not the best in memory, in a never-ending, and never-endingly eventful Travelife.
