A reunion dinner in Forbes Park, a haunted hotel, and about our Travelife to South Africa this May 2014.

On Saturday night, one of our Travelife Magazine Sri Lanka tour groups had a dinner reunion, to talk about Travel and Life, and Travelife’s upcoming trip to South Africa from May 16 to 26, 2014.

THE GUY WITH A BEAUTIFUL HOUSE

This dinner was kindly hosted by one of the tour participants, a guy with a beautiful house in one of the nicest neighborhoods in Forbes Park.

It was actually supposed to be in a restaurant.

But as he and I were talking sometime before New Year’s, I suddenly realized how much nicer our dinner would be if he would agree to host it at his palatial home.

So I said: "Let's just have the party in your house."

Fortunately, he's always nice enough to agree to my suggestions like this.

The last time I said this to him and he agreed, 250 people came over for a very nice party.

And that's how we ended up at his house on Saturday night.

A REALLY FUN EVENING

What a fun evening this was.

We ended at around 2 AM.

Most of the night, we just talked about traveling -- in particular, the upcoming Travelife to South Africa from May 16 to 26, 2014.

JOIN US FOR A TRAVELIFE TO SOUTH AFRICA
May 16 to 26, 2014

This Travelife to South Africa in May, which is open to the public, will be a ten-day trip that will include some very unique experiences.

There will be a hands-on safari, a visit to one of South Africa's most famous diamond mines, a trip to a cheetah reserve, and even a ghost tour.

Yes, a ghost tour is on the itinerary -- and won't that be fun?

THIS TRIP INCLUDES A GHOST TOUR

On my last trip to South Africa, I actually stayed in this certified haunted hotel which I personally picked because it's really historical and full of character.

Thank goodness I only found out it was haunted later, after I had checked out -- or else, I wouldn't have been able to sleep at all.

In May, we're going to visit this hotel as part of the ghost tour in South Africa, but we're not going to stay. I've booked the group in a nice new luxury hotel instead, right next to my friend's private helipad.

With a little cajoling, I was able to convince almost everyone in this particular Sri Lanka Tour Group to join me in South Africa this May for just another wonderful adventure in my never-ending, and never-endingly eventful Travelife.
