This afternoon, I took a few hours off from work to join the Teddy Bear afternoon tea at the Dusit Thani Manila.
Of course, this is basically for kids.
There's a great storyteller, an arts and crafts kit for each child to do, and Santa Claus even makes a cameo appearance.
But who would have thought that this would be so enjoyable for adults as well?

NOT JUST THE KIDS ARE HAVING FUN
I had a wonderful time -- not joining in the storytelling or sitting on Santa Claus' lap, of course.
Instead, I sampled the goodies in the afternoon tea selection and had all kinds of TWG Teas.
They happened to have my favorite rooibos tea here, although it was blended with some fruit essence at TWG, rather than the plain kind.
A GREAT TEA FOR DETOX
I also tried the Japanese sencha, which is great for detox.
That's one of my goals for the end of the year, by the way, and so far, I'm on track in spite of all the merrymaking.
CHRISTMAS CAROLS BY A SCHOOL CHOIR
The wonderful afternoon tea ended with a school choir singing some lovely Christmas carols.
Needless to say, everyone enjoyed. Adults included.
And it certainly made for a very nice afternoon in my never-ending, and never-endingly eventful Travelife.
