Typhoon Yolanda and a most difficult weekend for the Philippines

Taken from Facebook

Our hearts go out to all Filipinos who were affected by Typhoon Yolanda, the world's most powerful typhoon, this weekend -- and especially those in southern Philippines.

A MOST DIFFICULT WEEKEND

It was a terrible weekend for so many people in southern Philippines. We can only imagine the difficulties they have been subjected to.

The photos coming out of devastated areas are truly heartbreaking. This was a super category 5 typhoon, but it almost seems that these areas were whalloped by a storm, a tsunami and a cyclone all at the same time.

A WORKING WEEKEND FOR TRAVELIFE MAGAZINE

For us at Travelife Magazine, spared the fury of the typhoon, it was a working weekend.

Our hardworking sales & marketing team checked into a hotel in Makati and spent many hours discussing ways to make Travelife Magazine, the leading travel & lifestyle publication, bigger and better.

We want to take our world-class publication to the next level, in every sense.

We have a great and extremely hardworking team in place for this as well, composed of fun-loving and creative people for both our editorial and business sections.

HERE'S TO AN AMAZING 2014

I joined the planning session this afternoon.

With a great view of Makati all around us, we had a most animated discussion about our plans and events for 2014 and 2015 -- starting with the Travelife Rockwell Travel Fair at the Rockwell Tent from January 17 to 19, 2014.

I hope you can join us at the Travelife Rockwell Travel Fair.

It will be a fantastic event, full of great travel bargains and discounts for your own never-ending, and never-endingly eventful Travelife.
