So here I am in my bathtub with a view in Tanzania, living a Travelife.
It's been one nice experience after another, and so far I have stayed in two wonderful but very different lodges and I've loved both of them.
We're staying in five places on this trip to Tanzania.
I really chose five very different places to stay for this trip, so that we could get variety and depth. More on these in another blog entry.
Meanwhile, as I was looking at black rhinos and lions here in the middle of nowhere in Tanzania, a very nice opera recital was taking place at the Dusit Thani Manila.
A VERY SUCCESSFUL NIGHT AT THE OPERA
This recital, entitled Night at the Opera, was organized by Travelife Magazine, the Embassy of the Czech Republic, and the Dusit Thani Manila.
The soprano was Noema Erba, a truly talented Czech lady.
I wish I could have been there to see her as I so enjoyed her performance in Manila two years ago. This was also organized by Travelife Magazine, the Embassy of the Czech Republic and the Dusit Thani Manila.
A PRIVATE RECITAL IN PRAGUE
Then, last year, Noema organized the most lovely private recital for me at the home of the Philippine Ambassador to the Czech Republic.
We offered tonight's concert free to the public.
I've been reading all the nice comments on Facebook about this free cultural event, and it certainly warms the heart and makes all the effort that went into organizing this worth it.
JOIN US TONIGHT FOR A RARE PERFORMANCE
Tonight, Monday night, the Kubalovci boys' group is performing a very rare show of traditional Czech music.
This will also be at the Dusit Thani Manila at 7 pm.
EVERYONE is in invited, for free, courtesy once again of Travelife Magazine and its wonderful partners.
Please come and join us.
