A Travelife to Chile, March 2014. And incredible India in our June-July 2013 issue.

Santiago, Chile

Last night I invited the Ambassador of Chile and his family over for dinner at home, to talk about Travel and Life.

We began by talking about my never-endingly eventful Travelife, of course.

BEST OF A TRAVELIFE
IN THE LAST 12 MONTHS

I recalled a couple of my most memorable experiences in the last few months.

DINNER WITH THE BLIND IN TEL AVIV

Tel Aviv, Israel
At the top of this list was a dinner I had in Tel Aviv, eating in complete darkness for three hours with strangers.

Then, after dinner, I walked over next door to watch a show with deaf-and-blind performers. This combination provided me with one of my most emotional evenings in a very long time.

SRI LANKA WITH TRAVELIFE READERS AND FRIENDS

Sri Lanka in February with Travelife Magazine readers and friends was also very memorable and enjoyable.

I still remember the exhilaration and the most amazing view from the top of Sigiriya Rock. I said to myself then: "This must be what the world looked like, in the very beginning."

I had a 360 degree view of the entire central plain of Sri Lanka, you see, and there was not a structure in sight.

My recent holiday in India is also at the top of my list.

We visited two off-the-beaten track destinations and had a fascinating and enjoyable time.

The first of our destinations is coming up in the June-July 2013 issue of Travelife Magazine, so please get a copy of our upcoming issue to find out more about this city ruled over by someone who was once the richest man in the world.

TWO WONDERFUL WEEKS ON AFRICA

Then I recalled some of the highlights of two wonderful weeks in Africa -- including the meals we had, the very interesting people we'd met, and some of the most dramatic scenery I've ever seen anywhere in the world.

And, of course, our safari experience at two very different but equally memorable safari camps of the Sabi Sabi Game Reserve.

This epic food-and-everything trip has been top of mind lately, because I've just retraced our wonderful journey and booked practically every hotel we stayed in, and every restaurant we ate at, and every winery we visited, for a family of Travelife readers who wanted the complete Travelife experience.

I have a trillion stories to tell. It truly is a never-endingly eventful Travelife.

MORE OF A NEVER-ENDINGLY EVENTFUL TRAVELIFE

And it will certainly continue to be so.

Last night we also discussed our joint project of a trip to Chile for Travelife Magazine readers and friends. What a most amazing and memorable trip this will be, as I am going to put my heart and soul into this project.

If you're looking for that trip of a lifetime, you should be joining this. Or Africa in November. Or Sri Lanka this July. These three journeys will never make you look at the world in the same way again.

What are you waiting for?

A TRAVELIFE LIKE NO OTHER

The Travelife to Chile is a trip being organized by us together with the Embassy of Chile. It will truly be like no other, as we'll be doing this the Travelife way.

Some of the things on our wishlist include:

1) A private visit to the International Space Station in the Atacama Desert. Only Travelife will be able to get you there.

2) Private tastings with some of Chile's top winery makers.

3) Lunch with one of Chile's most famous chefs.

WHY WE'RE #1

As always in a Travelife: Good hotels, great meals, loads of fun, and excellent company. Plus a bit of culture and history, a bit of the good life, and enough time for shopping.

As many people will tell you by now, once you go on a Travelife, you're hooked.

No one travels like us. Or writes like us. Or enjoys life like us.

And that's why we're #1.
