Excellent Indian food from a chef from Bangalore, at Oakwood Joy Nostalg

Anna He PoorNa Brahma
(Food is God)

For an authentic and pretty rare foodie experience this month -- or perhaps, more accurately, for a dose of culinary nirvana -- head to Oakwood Joy Nostalg for the Indian Food Festival at the Oakroom.

Until March 1, the diversely delectable cuisines of India, as prepared personally by Chef Ashutosh Nerlekar from the Oakwood Premier Prestige Bangalore, will be served to Indian food lovers.

It's not often that a famous Indian chef with over 15 years of expertise in whipping up intricate Northern Indian cuisines comes to town.

And Chef Ashutosh is keen to ensnare us with his personal favorites such as the methi murgh, which is a tender boneless chicken perfumed with fenugreek leaves in rich gravy, and a famously hot Kashmiri delicacy called mutton rogan josh.

This is certainly one time we wish we were there, instead of in the land of sushi, as I personally love Indian food.
