Today, to practice perhaps for the upcoming Freedom Bike Ride they are organizing on Saturday, March the 9th, Dutch Ambassador Ton Boon von Ochssee was caught orange-handed biking home from work today.

BIKING ACROSS EDSA

Apparently this is nothing out of the ordinary for the recently-arrived Dutch Ambassador who simply refuses to sit through traffic when he knows that riding a bike will get him across EDSA faster.

Bravo to him, as he is certainly doing his part to unclog traffic in EDSA by leaving the car at the embassy. Not to mention how he is doing his part for the environment!

WALKING THE TALK

One of his hardworking staff at the embassy grabbed her iPhone, and begged him to allow her to take a few photos. And voila, here are some photos of the good Ambassador almost in real-time.

It's great that the Dutch walk their talk and that they are able to combine biking – which is quintessentially Dutch (digressing a bit, did you know that there are more bikes than people in the Netherlands?) – and their ongoing anti-trafficking advocacy through the Freedom Project.

For Ambassador Boon von Ochssee, it certainly wasn't just another day in his never-endingly eventful Travelife...
