MORE ON CALIDAD HUMANA

"Friendship and hospitality are also part of the meaning of 'calidad humana,'" Ambassador Mayorga said. "It’s the capacity to understand the importance of the spiritual aspect of life over the material aspect."

He also added: "Calidad humana is a rare strength of character that involves the ability to seek and protect the truth and also to be humble enough to able to learn from the opinions of others. Arrogance is contrary to the quality of “calidad humana.” I believe that Filipinos are among the people of the world with the most “calidad humana.”
