A Drumcats concert and a teddy bear museum in Seoul

Recently in Korea, living a TRAVELIFE, Travelife Managing Editor Ceia Ylagan recalls her cultural and pop experiences:

"We also watched a performance of Drumcats, an all-female percussion group that performs at the MyungBo Art Hall. The Drumcats are Seoul’s hottest female percussionists

And of course, we didn’t miss the NANTA show, which featured four actors making music using a water bottle, pots and pans, chopping boards and knives.

It’s a musical comedy that uses as little dialogue as possible. The story is about four chefs preparing a wedding banquet to be served by 6 pm.

We ended our Seoul trip with a visit to a teddy bear museum dedicated to Hallyu performers. I don’t know what the fascination is for these teddy bears, but I know that there are several teddy bear museums in Seoul and in other parts of Korea.

It’s no wonder why so many tourists troop over to Seoul for Hallyu. There are many attractions that feature these popular stars, most of which are interactive, too. I didn’t see any Korean actor or pop star, but this trip gave me a better appreciation of Korean entertainment.
