Win a 2.4 million peso British school full scholarship

British Schools Group
The Rotary Club of Makati Dasmarinas (RCMD) has partnered with the British Schools Group to offer the first Rotary Club of Makati Dasmarinas King's School Scholarship Program at King's School in Manila.

The British Schools Group recently opened the King's School Manila, making it one of only two British international schools in the Philippines, and also one of a handful in Southeast Asia.

It's fully run and managed by the British Schools Group with a headmaster and faculty members from the United Kingdom. The other is the British School in Bonifacio Global City.

SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA

RCMD is looking for a deserving Filipino student to be the scholarship recipient, who will start from Level 5 (equivalent to Grade 4).  The child must be must be nine years of age as of August 15, 2012, with a good command of spoken and written English, and with excellent social skills. Ideally, he or she should be able to easily adapt to an international environment.

The child will receive a full scholarship until he or she finishes the equivalent of high school at King's School Manila. This includes full payment of the annual tuition, school meals, books and materials. The annual tuition is currently pegged at PhP 650,000 so the value of a full scholarship through high school would be worth over PhP 2.4 million.

The British Schools Group is one of the largest networks of British international schools in the world. With schools in three continents, it is their mission to provide excellent British-style education in an international context which is designed for children of British and Commonwealth expatriates.

Each school in the British Schools Group aims to ensure a high standard of school life: from academic performance, to high quality facilities and excellent conditions for staff.

The deadline for submitting an application
is 5 PM on June 15, 2012.
