President Ramos:"Travelife is Number 1!"

That's former President Ramos,
Italian Ambassador Luca Fornari,
Singaporean Ambassador A. Selverajah,
Viel Aquino-Dee and her husband,
together with
Travelife Magazine Publisher Christine Cunanan.
And they're actually saying "Travelife is # 1!"

Hello with a hangover, after a most amazing event for Travelife Italy Night -- a gastronomic and cultural celebration to mark our fourth year as the Philippines' leading travel & lifestyle publication, and to promote the joy of life -- la dolce vita -- of Italy.

Over 280 guests joined us for an evening of fun and fantastic food cooked by the wonderful and incredibly talented Margarita Fores; and while the nine-course degustation meal was taking place, guests were treated to a gigantic travel slide show on Italy, the kind that the Philippines has never seen before. That multi-media show was a labor of love that literally took about 48 sleepless hours and most of my time this week. But the results were worth it. It was the perfect backdrop to the wonderful dinner.

Thank you to all our wonderful sponsors, and to our friends, guests and readers who made Travelife Italy Night all possible. Some photos from last night courtesy of photographer par excellence Jun Reynales:
