And come, they did. We had lots of families attending, and even an entire class of grade school students from Assumption College who had just finished studying about India, accompanied by a couple of chaperone moms. We also had a dance troupe from Far Eastern University, and lots of students from Enderun, DLSU and the Ateneo. There were also bloggers, Facebook friends and, of course, Travelife readers and followers.
I think it's safe to say that every single person enjoyed the evening because it was the first truly world-class evening of Indian culture that Manila has seen. The performers were among the best in India and this level of an Indian cultural performance has perhaps never come to the Philippines before.
And so many people who attended the special free performance last night wanted to see more of the amazing dances by going to the gala dinner on Monday. Unfortunately, we're completely sold out as of a few days ago.
Tomorrow, finally, we have the Travelife India Night Gala Dinner. Personally, I just can't wait to see this marvelous spectacle of Indian culture again, and this time accompanied by the best of Indian cuisine.
Just another wonderful week in our never-ending, and never-endingly eventful, TRAVELIFE.
