Meet Dusit's inspiring model-chef

Healthy-eating expert and an internationally renowned television celebrity chef, and author Daniel Green will be in Manila next week to introduce the ‘Eat Well, Feel Well’ at the Dusit Thani Manila. This programmeaims to provide guests with a healthy diet selection menu, especially since healthy traveling is becoming the preferred lifestyle choice among global travelers.

“Dusit Thani Manila is truly privileged to kick off the Eat Well, Feel Well Dusit International Tour as we introduce the signature dishes Daniel Green has exclusively designed for Dusit Thani Manila”, said Prateek Kumar, general manager of Dusit Thani Manila.

Dusit's Eat Well, Feel Well’ healthy menus include low-calorie recipes for breakfast, appetisers, soups, main dishes and desserts that will not only help to balance an individual’s nutritious diet but also teach guests about how food can be tasteful and still healthy. I took a look at their menu, and they had such delicious offerings like Wasabi Tuna, Salsa Verde Fish, Salsa Seabass, Crab Cakes, a low-fat Crème Brule, and Poached Pears.

Daniel Green is well-known for his astonishing background. He was once an overweight teenager who, at the age of 18, started a three-year diet which transformed his life. He spent the next few years travelling all over the world as a professional model before deciding to help others change their lives in the same way he had changed his, through healthy-eating. He developed a passion for cooking and for making gourmet meals using fresh and healthy alternatives to cream, butter and other fattening products. Daniel’s signature recipes are simple and easy to do while offering healthy, tasty and delicious-on-the-eye. He has authored five books which have sold worldwide.

“It is such a great honour for me to work with Dusit International, an iconic brand in Thailand with a distinguished heritage, its gracious Thai hospitality, and most importantly, the pride that they take in serving no other than the freshest quality cuisine to their customers. My passion is in Asia and with this collaboration, there will certainly be a lot more culinary knowledge exchange and innovations to help people manage their life through healthy eating, everyday. I believe healthy food can be cooked to a brilliant standard, full of flavour with great eye-appeal and Dusit has let me showcase this”, said Chef Daniel Green.

The Eat Well, Feel Well programme is the new way to a healthier and more creative diet, and it's now available at the Dusit Thani Manila.
