July will be a wonderful month for culture and for those who appreciate Indian dance. In cooperation with the Embassy of India, the Indian Council on Cultural Relations, and the Dusit Thani Manila, Travelife Magazine is once again presenting a series of Travelife India Nights for its readers, friends, associates and also for lovers of culture and the arts.
It's not often that we get world-class Indian performers in Manila, but Travelife Magazine has been privileged to have been a key component in the organization of a series of cultural shows with top performers from India who would be hard to see even if you were to travel to India yourself.
FIRST TRAVELIFE INDIA NIGHT IN FEB
In February, we launched the first of Travelife India Nights at the Dusit Thani Manila with a jampacked ballroom of VIPs and Travelife friends and associates, who enjoyed a musical performance by India's top sarod and sitar artists and then dined on a five-course Indian degustation meal personally overseen by Dusit GM Prateek Kumar, and amidst beautiful Indian artificats personally loaned to Travelife by Madame Indira Kumar, wife of the Indian Ambassador.
TRAVELIFE INDIA NIGHTS THIS JULY
This July, we're privileged to announce that one of India's top classical dancer, Ms Ranjana Gauhar, and her Odissi dance group, will be visiting Manila specifically to perform in a series of Travelife Nights. Ms Gauhar is perhaps the most eminent proponent of the Kathak style of classical dance in India today, and if you are interested in culture and in learning more about the wonderful world around you, these Travelife India Nights should not be missed.
Travelife India Nights this July will once again be held in cooperation with the Embassy of India, the Indian Council for Cultural Relations and the Dusit Thani Manila.
There will be two events for Travelife India Nights this July, and I would like to invite each of you to take advantage of this rare opportunity to witness a world-class cultural performance at the Dusit Thani Manila Hotel.

AND SPECIAL PERFORMANCE
FOR TRAVELIFE INDIA NIGHT
ON JULY 18
PhP 1499 per person
On July 18, Monday, Travelife Magazine and the Dusit Thani Manila are organizing a world-class performance by Ms Gauhar and her Odissi Dance Group, to be enjoyed with a fabulous five-course Indian degustation meal. This is a truly wonderful Indian gourmet dinner personally overseen by Dusit Thani Manila GM Prateek Kumar and his Indian chef. It will be similar to the five-course dinner we served at the first Travelife India Night last February -- and I can't tell you just how many people stopped me as I was walking through the ballroom that night, to ask how and when they could sample this food again. The answer's here: at this upcoming Travelife India Night - Gala Dinner on July 18.
There will also be some surprise performances and, as always, our famous and amazing Travelife raffles. All for the price of a typical buffet meal at a five-star hotel, in line with our philosophy of trying to make world-class culture as accessible to as many people as possible. We hope you'll be able to join us for this very special evening.
