Day 2 on Silversea’s Silver Spirit: Bali to Manila via Sabah, 730 pm Tuesday
Favorite activities: Walking the jogging trail for an hour at sunset with my iPod on and the sea breeze blowing into my face. Next would be editing articles on my Mac on one of the giant Dedon chairs in the outdoor terrace in the afternoon. A very far third (swipe) would be exchanging emails with J via the Silversea satellite in New York. Yes, we’ve chucked BBM for now as I’m in between countries and can’t BBM him back.
What’s on my iPod today: Do It For Love and Kiss On My List, both by Hall & Oates.
Memorable meals: Salmon sashimi at lunch, and tomato soup for brunch.
What’s in my fridge: Champagne, sparkling water, and cucumber juice. I’m famous now for ordering all these strange, fresh juices.
What I’m wearing: A blue and white long dress for an al fresco dinner in a few minutes.
What I’m doing from now: Having dinner at the Hot Rocks and then watching the 10 pm show of Euro 2011, followed by one for the road on the outdoor verandah area of the Observation Lounge.
